Bio

I am from Las Cruces, New Mexico.  I am married to my lovely wife Rachael.  We have four grown children; Richard, Roxanne, Tifani and Jason.  I have four grandchildren who are the light of my life Nate, Bentley, Khloe and Roman.  We enjoy fishing when I am not at work.

Enlisted in the United States Army in March 1982 as a PFC due to attending New Mexico State University for two years.  Served for 21 years in the military as a Black Hawk helicopter crew chief with over 1,500 flight hours.  Stationed in Germany three times, Korea, Ft Bliss, Texas and Ft Campbell, Ky.  Deployed many times to include Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Kosovo.

 

I have a bachelors degree from Troy University.

 

Taught JROTC at Sidney Lanier High School from August 2003 to August 2011 where I was the LET 2 (second year cadet) Army Instructor.  I was the Color Guard Coach and the Supply Custodian.

 

I am teaching JROTC here at Stanhope Elmore High School for my sixth year.  I am the Drill Team and Color Guard Coach as well as the LET 1 (first year cadet) Army Instructor.  I enjoy spending time during the afternoon with my drill team and color guard.  They are VERY dedicated team members who take their teams very seriously.
