Roberts & Mildred Blount Presidential Endowed Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is for students that have been admitted into UAB by December 1, 2007. It awards one renewable scholarship in the amount of $5,000 to an outstanding high school senior from Elmore County. For more information use the e-mail address listed under link address. National Commission for Cooperative Education

Engineering Math Advancement Program
E-MAP is a summer calculus ramp-up class available to students after graduating high school, but prior to entering into their freshman year of college. The Inter-Tribal Council of Alabama's (WIA)Work-force investment Act) is a federally funded program through the Department of Labor. A few eligibility requirements are: Proof of Native American Heritage, meet federal guidelines for low-income families, must live and attend a college/vocational school in Alabama, must apply for a Pell Grant and must have a high school diploma or GED.
